Lake Series, The Next Segment Begins
Two quilts I've been working on for the Smoky Mountain Quilt Guild Show have pinks and oranges as the featured colors. This prompted me to begin this segment of the Lake series with those colors.
Lake #26 construction
Lake #26
Now, back to finishing the last one of my three entries for that show.

I'm pleased to have found your blog. Thank you for visiting mine.
In looking at the previous 25 quilts in your Lake series I was immediately drawn to #9 construction with the pins. At first I thought they were birds! It is all lovely work, and in my present colour mood I particularly admire #26.
Nellie, you keep outdoing yourself! Your work is so fabulous! Please tell me how you get your blog photos to enlarge when you click on them. I am having trouble with that. Sometimes it just seems to happen, but when I want them to enlarge, they don't. What is the secret here?
Oh my gosh, these colors are calling, shouting, no...screaming out to me....I love the lake series in this color way.
ReplyDeleteLovely! Renimds me of a sunset at my friend's river house.
