Lake Quilt Entry in the SMQ 2008 Show

This is the largest quilt in my series of 100 lake quilts.
#54/100 Lake (29"x 27") - 2008
I succumbed to showing a bit of a reflected sunset to give a focal point to this large piece. I'm not ready to present full blown sunsets in this series. My intent is to present a mood ... a feeling ... in each of these quilts rather than "something" on the lake. That's why you've seen no boats, birds, nor beach paraphernalia. Here it is before I added paint and oil stick pastel work.
My other entry in this year's show is "Let Me Take You to the Kasbah". That quilt can be seen here.
