Busy Quilting and Coloring

For several days I've been machine quilting ...
and coloring in with oil stick pastels to enhance, correct, and highlight various sections of the quilt ...

    Very intriguing. This doesn't look like the lake to me, especially not with that dark yarn piece. Maybe more mountains?

    The close ups help a lot in reconstructing the construction methods. I am anxious to try my oil sticks on a piece too.
