That's a tricky one Nellie but I'm sure you will come up with something stunning. Love the patterns of the brick paving and the texture of the water fountain.
You and I are on a similar path ...
I chose to crop as well and am finished with all but the quilting. Took me a lot of pondering to finally come up with something.
I like the brick pattern, but it didn't work with the rest of mine.
