Pilgrimage to the Elvis Rock
A big item in the news this past week is the Elvis Rock.
It's been featured in multi media nationally, internationally, as well as locally.
Several people had emailed me about it and I had checked it out on the web. We read that the lady, LaDell Alexander, who had discovered the image of Elvis on this rock was in residence here in Estes Park. Lee called and asked if we could come see it in person ...
... a personal Presley Pilgimage.
A local geologist claims the Elvis Rock is pre-Cambrian granite and estimated its age at over three billion years old. Lee says this proves that Elvis was actually born three billion, forty-two years ago. Graceland is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Elvis's demise at age 42 next month. Obviously, they are wrong.

I used to really feel badly for Elvis as he aged and it began to show on him, now I think he really looked exceedingly good for over three billion years old! I am always amazed at these nature imitating art effects. I found the image of the Easter Bunny in a potato once, sent it to the local newsaper and they never bothered to even print it! I shudder to think of the riches that have since escaped me. I mean, how many people do you know that have actually caught any image, whatsoever, of the Easter Bunny? I did, and no one cared. And I thought he was almost up there with Elvis, too!
Kind of amazing - I can see the resemblance.
I always read this kind of articles...I'm too curious! But I think that Elvis is inside each one of us!!!!
ciao,ciao
This made my day.
