Storm!

That predicted storm arrived just at sunset last evening. The first raindrops are splashed on the window.
We awoke to winds gusting up to 60mph. It's impossible to walk on the lake side of the cottage. Those are 16 foot waves out there.
The view from behind my machine is still spectacular!

As you say Nellie - the views are still spectacular. Providing you don't have power failure you can still keep sewing! I think our weather is about to change too and we can expect rain this weekend after a long dry spell (for England!). We are making the most of our last warm sunny days.

You sure are situated in a beautiful spot Nellie...Nothing as relaxing as the water..
I bet your new machine is a pleasure. They truly are little work horses.
Happy stitching

That storm went thru here too. We lost one large branch off our beautiful old Maple. The Lake looks
powerful through your window.

I am relating to your hours....you are not alone, I am with you! haha.
