... and that pile below is what I've unraveled from the base fabric as well as what is trimmed from the warp and the added yarns to shape the bottom. This part is done, but I'm not finished yet. Stay tuned for more.
It's looking good Nellie - I love the way the colour seems to move downn the piece. Now you will have to think of how to use that little pile of yarns!
All the while I was trimming and deconstructing the base fabric, I was thinking of what can be done with the growing pile on the table below. If it were a year ago, they would've ended up in "The Lake" installation piece. I think I must make a "sunset on the lake" piece. The kinks in the weft threads will be wonderful wave patterns.

Very sculptural!
Your work just keeps getting better and better. I imagine that pile on the floor will end up in some fantastic art piece too.

evolution! I love how this is looking and that it is also in the process of becoming more!
Oh, I love how you have the bottom of it now !
I love the movement of the color and the texture. It's very shamanistic, totem-like somehow. What a wonderful idea this has turned out to be.
this is so dramatic. it makes me think of a warrior's shield
I thought it was finished. I can not wait to see what comes next!
Very inspiring. Love the colors and the flow.
