Nellie I come from the end of the land "downunder" where there is no snow or ice.........but I reckon that you're looking from the water to the land,as the snow disappears. One day,I will experience snow/ice first hand rather than from a plane overflying the Sierra Nevada!

It certainly looks like a landscape. Can't wait to see what it becomes!
Here's my guess....instead of looking at a lake scene from land, we are looking at a land scene from the lake.
It has water in it! Looks like snow behind the trees. You don't stay up in Michigan in the winter, but it looks like that's what is coming out.

stegart is right yes? i WAS going to say you were working on a forest but i realize my brain isn't working and that can't be.
can't wait to see more!
I'm with stegart. But I think you've got Lake Michigan sand dunes instead of snow. That painted crayon rubbed fabric is wonderful for the water.

Hi Nellie! It's looking wonderful! Always fun to see what you have been creating. Patty.
