Snow!

The first snow of winter! And it's coooooooold!
The whole day it seemed as though we were living in a snow globe.
A nice thing about living in Tennessee is that we get to experience all four seasons. Thank heavens winter is the shortest. That snowfall will be gone by the end of tomorrow and we're expecting temperatures near 60 degrees on Friday. Now back to making more birds in my warm, cozy studio.

I also don't like the cold. Although it was fun to be able to ice skate this year. I think it was more than fifteen years ago that we went ice skating. But now it is so cold here, there is no snow. I am longing for the spring. For long walks and drinking tea in the local pub, etc... Just a few months.

I must say that I like your pictures. It looks so nice out there. The last one almost looks as if it could be taken in our province.

That's not snow, honey; that's just a little winter decoration!
Stay warm, and enjoy it.

The face in the snow is hysterical. I need one of those for up here except it would be buried most of the winter. Hope you are cozy. Tennessee is looking better and better.

Your picture captures my feeling about winter perfectly. My face is frozen like that from late November til the end of march here in CT. Can't wait to retire to a warmer climate!

How very very striking! We had bucket loads for a while and now.... it's all gone away and we're in the 40s and 50s.
Cheers,
